Meg moved north to attend The College of St. Scholastica in Duluth and has lived near the western tip of Lake Superior ever since. She is passionate about living and working in this region and is committed to keeping the area vibrant. Meg finds purpose in working with organizations in non-metro communities and less populated areas.

Way back in the last century two studies provided groundbreaking insights into
businesses. Unfortunately – most of us entrepreneurs have never heard of either.
First - Larry E. Greiner, discovered there is no smooth path to growth in business. His
research found that companies go through periods of steady evolution punctuated by
times of significant upheaval and change – revolutions. The way a company manages
these transitions determines its continued success.
In 1978 two guys - Renato Tagiuri and John Davis delineated a theory called the
Three-Circle Model of the Family Business System. They outlined and illustrated that
each of the circles in a healthy family business have a defined leader, succession plan,
set of priorities, definition of what is fair, decisions they make, and meetings.
